Ahoy Games is an independent game development studio based in Warsaw POLAND. Our main driving belief is to have fun while making games that will provide fun for our players. We still try to keep the way we do things as if we are hobbyists, loving what we do, keeping the same excitement and motivation we had at the beginning of our careers. This drives us forward!

We also focus very much on ergonomics of our work, we try to make sure that all our team members have IPS panel displays and sit in the highest quality of workstation chairs, uses the highest quality desks and uses a preference of keyboard and mice set they prefer. By allowing our team members to work more efficiently, we believe that working becomes way more joyful while increasing our production power.

At this point, we are determined to focus on self-publishing and working on our own intellectual properties.

History

The company was founded in 2013 by Deniz Piri. Although the Ahoy Games name was already well known by then. The first game of Ahoy Games was released in early 2012. Mid-2015, we moved to our offices in the center of Warsaw. We made it feel like our home. Gathered a highly intelligent and multi-talented team and began working!

We released our first game Okey in 2012. Okey game went on to be a huge success in Turkey. Later we have worked on an online version of the same game and released it mid-2014. Later we started working on our new game ChubbyRoll, to be released on early 2016. Followed soon by Tiny Bombers on early 2017..
